Risk Assessment

Several of the risks we have highlighted are:
  • throwing paint or paint powder could cause slipping or potential accidents
  • running through London is quite dangerous (it's also by a river so we'll have to plan these shots very carefully)
  • a lot of people in a small area (crowd whilst the band plays) could be hazardous as people may be claustrophobic / hit one another by accident
  • forgetting lyrics for lip sync
  • battery runs out
  • tape runs out
  • actors don't have correct costume
  • damaged equipment
  •
Ways to stop risks:
  • make sure the paint isn't in areas of tripping
  • be very careful running through london
  • ask people before hand if they suffer from claustrophobia / make sure they don't wave their arms around
  • have lyrics on set just in case
  • have extra batteries
  • have extra tapes
  • check with actors about their costumes
  • be careful, very careful

Shot List for 18th November

This is what we have planned for the 18th at Brent Old Boys Social Club on the 18th.

Production Schedule for 18th Nov

Brent Old Boys Social Club, 18th November 2012.

Filming

On 18th November we reshot our performance in our school's lecture theatre. The quality of the first lot of footage filmed at the Brent Old Boys Social Club was just was not good enough, so we went back, looked over our research and planning and decided to reshoot. The lecture theatre was our last resort but we think we did well. The actor who was supposed to be the lead singer did not show up, meaning that Joe had to step in and be the lead singer, resulting in me having to film all the shots which included Joe and then Joe having to shoot some of the close ups and shots that didn't include him. This meant I filmed the majority of shots and so Joe is doing the majority of editing.

On 1st December we filmed part of our narrative at Southbank, with Joe doing the majority of filming.
